In our last Yuga update, we already discussed Dookey Dash and The Otherside 2nd trip. Today, we’ve got HV-MTL (the forge), a crafting game that’s making waves in the web3 universe. But let me run it back a little. Where did these Heavy Metals (HV-MTL) come from?
In Early 2023, Yuga released the game, Dookey Dash. While playing you would log a high score. Based on the highest score you got you won a HV-MTL NFT. A young gamer earned millions of dollars by selling his first-place NFT to a New York-based billionaire.
- These small robots are the Evolution 1 of its kind, and we will get to Evolution 3 at the end of the ride.
- The game The Forge is to create your Evolution 2 version. Based on your accomplishments in this game you will evolve it to the best capabilities of the HV-MTL.
- What takes us to Evolution 3? That’s a surprise only Yuga knows.
2. Legends of the Mara
But that’s not all, folks! Prepare to be swept off your feet by the enchanting world of Legends of the Mara (LOTM). It’s like they took the adventure genre, sprinkled it with blockchain magic, and created a potion that’s equal parts exhilarating and awe-inspiring.
This game will be a 2D strategy game for which you need The Otherside NFTs. We don’t know the details or rules of the game yet. All we know is that sediments and environments of Otherside deeds are important to feed the new characters called “maras”. These characters can later evolve into Koda Mara’s, who has similar capabilities as Kodas. Although Yuga clearly states Kodas will be overpowered vs the Mara’s.
The game was scheduled to release in April but got pushed back and we expect to see it go live this year.
3. Wreck League
And if you’re in the mood for some smashing good fun, WreckLeague is here to satisfy your cravings. It’s the collision of NFTs and sports, and let’s just say, chaos has never looked this appealing!
Last week Yuga dropped a brand new NFT collection for their new fighting game. The collection is called Wreck League Majestics, which contains Boxes. Each box holds 5 items you will use to build your character to use in the game. The more rare the box, the better the parts that are in them.
The game is scheduled to go live in the next 2-3 weeks and in Yuga’s tradition, you can earn Apecoin playing it.
Apefest 2023: Hong Kong, Here We Come! ?
Hold onto your banana peels, because Apefest 2023 is roaring its way to Hong Kong early November!
