Here are The Biggest NFT Discord Communities

The blockchain-cryptocurrency sector has always been at the forefront of technological progress and innovation. This is why they have always sought out platforms that could provide them with the space to explore these alternatives. At a time when most companies sought out Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Twitter, crypto projects joined Discord for communicating with users.

As time passed and DeFi took over the crypto domain, community-oriented NFT projects started becoming dominant. These NFT projects put special emphasis on their Discord servers to interact with the community. But what is it about Discord that attracts the hundreds of NFT projects to build their communities on this platform over others?

Why NFT Enthusiasts Are Opting For Discord?

Discord is a community-oriented text/voice/video chat app with mostly private, invite-only spaces called servers. It is this special emphasis on communities with shared interests that make them stand out from other platforms. Unlike Facebook where the algorithm determines what you see or don’t see, Discord lets the power rests in your hands. Instead of scrolling through a manipulative news feed, you only get to participate in things that genuinely interest you.

Most NFT projects put a lot of effort into building a strong and robust community around their initiatives. Thus, NFT holders get access to special community rewards, and hold governance rights within the protocol. It is only natural that these NFT projects seek out Discord to interact and communicate with their community. These NFT Discord servers provide ample opportunities for like-minded people to collaborate and exchange ideas about NFTs and more.

In the next section, we will tell you about some NFT projects who have a thriving NFT Discord community. Keep reading!

Always Follow The Genuine NFT Discord Channels!

Some ill-intentioned hackers are taking advantage of the NFT hype to lure and dupe unsuspecting crypto enthusiasts. Since anyone can create an NFT Discord server for free, hackers make a fake server for an NFT project. Those users who join the counterfeit servers and follow the instructions end up losing their cryptos.

Airdrop Alert wants you to be safe while transacting in NFTs. Do read our blog on NFT scams to stay out of trouble.
